June is Busting Out All Over
We've had timely rains this year -- so far. I am really hoping that our summer is not going to be a repeat of last year's record hot and dry spell.
I lost quite a few daylilies to the brutal heat last year, but the ones that lived are doing well. I suppose it is just as well to learn now what varieties cannot take the heat. Gardening in Oklahoma is a challenge, and only plants that can withstand extremes are likely to make a home here.

Most of the weeds even died down here last summer! It's gonna be worse or just as bad this summer. All the color you have are beautiful
Reading your blog has brought out in me an admiration for daylilies I never knew I had
!
:sunny:So colorful! Love the colors and the different types of your day lilies!
I'm not sure if your neighbors love you or not. After all your yard outshines theirs.
Beautiful! And being in KS I know how much of a challenge it is to have a nice yard with drought, heat, and the wind. You certainly have a green thumb!
Your garden is enchanted ,Alice, and makes us dream . Your gardening is art !
Love
