  • June is Busting Out All Over

     We've had timely rains this year -- so far. I am really hoping that our summer is not going to be a repeat of last year's record hot and dry spell.

    I lost quite a few daylilies to the brutal heat last year, but the ones that lived are doing well. I suppose it is just as well to learn now what varieties cannot take the heat. Gardening in Oklahoma is a challenge, and only plants that can withstand extremes are likely to make a home here.

  • Most of the weeds even died down here last summer!  It's gonna be worse or just as bad this summer.  All the color you have are beautiful
