Rosie Joy
I thought it was about time I posted another picture of Rosie Joy. I've enhanced the picture a bit, but this looks very typical. She is watching the world outside the office window. She will be 8 months old in a few days and is doing well, despite a proclivity for putting all sorts of nasty things in her mouth. Her appetite for actual food is not so good, but she continues to grow and has enough energy for two puppies.
She is completely house trained now, thanks to a cow bell that we have hung by the door. It didn't take her anytime at all to learn that whenever she wants our attention, a pat or two on the bell will do the trick. There are times when she rings the bell when she just wants us to play with her, but usually she wants to go outside. Rosie hasn't had one accident on the rug since we hung the bell by the door. I think there had been lots of times when she would go to the door, and when no one noticed, she would go on the rug. She just needed a way to let us know when she wanted something.

Oh, that is adorable!!! How nice for you that she's housetrained, now... I know that's a hard time to work through!!
cute
Wonderful! I am so glad for you guys!:sunny::sunny::sunny:
A bell--what a great idea! See, we humans are trainable.
Ditto to Cheri Herald. Delighted to get to see Rosie's progress. I've missed her over the past couple of months. Thanks for the pics and the update.
What a clever idea! She's adorable and the RJ fanclub all said awwwww!! I particularly like the paw up on the basket there!:love::love:
Awe, how precious! What a lovely photo!:love::love:
I love the idea of a bell. Too often, our dogs would scratch at the door, and scratch it awfully! We did have a dog that could ring a doorbell to come back inside, though.
