  • More random shots from the garden today. Bama Bell is the first daylily, Court Magician is next.

Tiger Lilies are below. They have been great this year.

The next daylily is named Inner Destiny

Miss Jessie is the name of the last daylily, a tall spider.

Rosie Joy likes June Bugs. When we go out for the last time each night, the June Bugs are flying around, mostly just above the grass when Rosie has a great view of them. She jumps, pounces, and often crunches them down before I can react. They don't seem to be bad for her, but I don't encourage eating bugs, either. Believe me, I'm tempted because her appetite is so poor, but I'd much rather her eat her dog food.

She is doing better eating her food. Right now she is eating a combination of a canned food consisting mainly of beef and rice and Science Diet dry food. No more stomach problems and she has plenty of energy. I'm be rather glad when the June Bugs are gone.

  • What a stunning collection you have for us today Alice!

Your little girl is braver than mine when it comes to bugs :giggle:. As soon as I hear a wail in the backyard I know she has found a bug or a bug has found her and one of us has to come to her rescue!

  • Beautiful as always.

I suppose as long as it doesn't hurt her it's a bit of extra protien?

    *soft smirk*

I know that wasn't the right answer but i'm trying to give you some positive spin here!

  • I understand Science Diet for pets are good and will give your Rosie Joy a bit of weight if she eats them accordingly.

  • As always these are such lovely photos of your day lillies.  I often find I cannot access your site except through the sub list, so I don't comment as often, but I love the pictures and enjoy seeing them.

How long have you lived in your present home?  I began reading your blog the same time you moved.  It has been awhile, I guess.
