Chris and I went to the Zoo today with Gill. I loved the new baby chimpanze, Zoe. Her mother died and she is being taken care of by two adopted mothers. We watched them for a long time, and I think she is in good hands.
She was a cutie, wasn't she!! And I thought it very interesting how the two adopted mothers were "team" mothering her. Neither one seemed to be possessive with Zoe. They were both just sharing the mothering responsibilities.
