• The way it's been going, I may not get around to posting before Thursday, so I've chosen a picture with a Thanksgiving theme. It was one of our nutcrackers this week in digital nuts.

  

  It's been a busy time, but I think life now is about to settle down to something approaching normalcy. Our Thanksgiving will be small  and simple, but I think that sounds just about right this year. I might just be getting lazy.

  I've not only neglected my blog, but I've also neglected the garden of late, but it is about ready to be put to bed for the winter anyway. Just some cleanup work after we have another couple hard freezes, then very little until early spring.

  Rosie joy is going to be spayed the Monday after Thanksgiving. I had waited longer than I wanted to, hoping that she would put on a little weight and have a cushion of fat if she doesn't eat for a while after the operation, but finally, it has become clear that she is just a Skinny Mini... and will probably remain that way.
