Grandison
Chris and I are back from our very brief but busy sister trip. We enjoyed our time together, packing just about all we could physically do into our short stay. We did a lot of the touristy things that many locals seldom get around to doing. And we came home exhausted -- but with our cameras' memory sticks full. The picture above was taken at our Bed and Breakfast, the Grandison. More pictures to come. Now I rest a few hours before I get back to work on my digging project.

I love the dark wood at that B&B. I thought it was a museum at first. Beautiful. Glad you two had fun----that is what counts, right?
My sis has her 75th birthday today. She is 10 yrs. older than I.
What a grand place to take an in-town vacation! :goodjob:
We DID have a great time, but I too am exhausted. It took me ALL evening to dump my pictures on to my computer and rename them. I've gone thru them and will delete about half of them tomorrow . . . just too tired tonight.
Lovely, i like dark wood for furnitures although i have a hard time polishing mine here  glad you and your sister had a good in-town trip!!

hello luv the smileys!
I will be willing to bet that each side of that room has those precious pocket doors that oldfashioned homes had. Beauthiful place.
I love the feel that picture gives of the B&B. I'm glad the sisters had a good time. Often people don't visit their own town as a tourist would. We have the premier Japanese Gardens in the US here, but it took my dad's caregiver coming to town as a visitor after his death for me to go there. How sad.
I love your pictures of the flowers..that is the kind of thing I like to take pics of too..your are beautiful and give me inspiration on the flower bed I am going to start as soon as the hubby gets the roots out and has my dirt delivered. What beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing them with us..
Wish I were there... it looks splendid!
